This week

I had an infusion in hospital on Monday and unfortunately the side effects gave me a bad headache and a fever for a couple of days which wasn't very nice and I felt fit for nothing. Thankfully I only need to have these every six months for the next three years so that's a relief. Hubby kept himself occupied and completed the jigsaw I showed you in my previous post, seems that the family won the million and are celebrating their win.

He went for his Covid jab yesterday and as it was at our GP's surgery he was given a date for his second jab in May but I've yet to hear when and where my second dose will be. We had an errand to do this week and that was to go to to the pet store and buy some supplies. That's right there was a big hint in the previous post when I mentioned the dog journal. We have a little furry addition to our family and here she is. She's going to keep us on our toes for sure.

It's been eleven months since we lost our Annie and our hearts were broken and having only seen hospital staff for nearly a year we felt it was time to enrich our lives. Like us this young pup won't be going out until she's had her second jab and these next few weeks will be interesting to say the least. We're looking forward to some fun times ahead with her.

    1. Thank you Jo. She’s a Cockapoo, her parents are Cockapoos and she’s just eight weeks old and we’ve called her Tilly and she is absolutely adorable as you can tell. We’re thrilled to bits with her and we are very happy xx

  2. YAY! I am so glad your Little Lady is home safe. 👏👏

You do realise that now you have introduced the latest Internet Pawsonality to us you are legally obliged to tell everything, share photos almost daily, and ignore the fact she got you up in the night and has eaten your best gloves. 🐾💚🤣

    1. Home safe and sound :)

Oh yes, there will be regular pupdates and photos for your delight. I think there may be some naughtiness to report although she is fast asleep and having a cuddle at the moment xx

  3. Oh, she so cute. My niece recently got a golden cockapoo named Ernie and one of the children I used to teach has just got one named Brazil. I think you're going to have a lot of fun with Tilly.

  4. Only just seen this as I've been at work. It's so lovely to see a photo of your new little four-paws, she's such a cutie and I'm really excited and happy for you. As Jayne says, we need regular reports and photos now - I wonder if she will 'collect' things like Snowy does? :)

    1. Thanks Eunice. She’s a happy little pup, she plays for a while then wants to be on our knees for a sleep. We might be making a rod for our own backs here. She’s got plenty of toys to collect anyway :)

  5. Oh my, she's a cutie & I think I can see poodle in her. I'm jealous..........I'd love to hug & cuddle her too. I may see my friend's poodle today if I get up the nerve to go down to our car club rooms & if she's there before us, the guys will all suddenly say, "Susan must have arrived", as Cassie goes berserk as soon as she sees me. Enjoy & hope to see lots of photos as she grows. Enjoy. Take care, stay safe & huggles. PS: Our jabs are probably some way off yet as we aren't quite in the 75 age bracket.

    1. I can see the cocker and poodle in her. There's nothing that can beat hugging and cuddling a new puppy and having a dog greet you. I hope you get to see your friend's poodle today Susan. I think the UK are roaring ahead with the vaccination programme. Take care and stay safe x
