I have quite a few handbags stored away and many have not been used for years. Looking for something the other day I discovered at the bottom of one handbag a tin of memory mints. I can tell by the best before date that I must have bought them about ten years ago. I remember buying them and the sad thing is I wasn't even a senior citizen then!
Can I tempt you to a mint?
Help yourself :)
That's a classic :) I like the bottom line on the back of the tin - presumably you haven't tried any? :(
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd offer them to my blog readers to try first ;)
DeleteWell that let's me off then as I don't like mints :)
DeleteOh those things, tucked away, in the bottom of, or in the pockets of, old items! -grin-
ReplyDeleteNice that they are safe, in a tin box. We all remember finding some items, which *melted* with time, heat, and age. Ughhhhh.... -gigggles-
Do they still make them?????? I need a case or so!!!!! LOL
Gentle hugs...
I could tell you about the packet of Jelly Babies in the glove box of our car. You wouldn't believe what the contents looked like after many, many months of sitting there in the heat of the car :)

ReplyDeleteThank god it isn't' just me. I've handbags that have conveniently hidden things from me FOR YEARS! Although, I do have to say that with "Memory Mints", if you had eaten them, you would have "Remembered" they were there! 🤣
You are so right Ann! If I'd eaten those mints at the time I would have remembered where I'd left them, hahaha :-)
