It's oh so quiet

I've had my once a day exercise taking Annie to the dunes this morning. We didn't meet anyone on the dunes path just saw one solitary man  on the bench on the mound. That's a nice quiet place overlooking the sea to gather your thoughts.

This afternoon I had to travel for medical needs. The Expressway was exceptionally quiet of traffic and we arrived at my appointment way ahead of time. It's a beautiful warm, sunny day almost like a summer's day but without the influx of tourists.

Now hubby and I are isolating ourselves. Still no delivery slots for our online shopping but we'll be alright for a week or two. I'm going to keep on blogging but it may well be something about nothing :)

    1. We did Jayne thank you. I think it's the first time I've ever walked that path without passing another dog walker. I was fully prepared to jump into the grass if I met anyone.

    1. It's always lovely down there. As you know our beach is pebbly and not nice at all. That path is where I was fined for having Annie off lead one time, naughty of me but she never moves far from my side. No excuse I know as the area is classed as a nature reserve and volunteers keep it clean and tidy. You must walk down there with me some time.

  3. Lovely photos of the dunes. I love the seaside & won't be going anywhere near it for possibly some time. Not real quiet here as a lot of people who are home, are catching up on odd jobs with banging, sawing & drilling etc. Take care.

    1. Hello Susan, thank you for your comment.
I expect there will be much cleaning and DIY done in homes over the coming weeks. I have just had a lovely community volunteer do some errands for me so no need for me to leave the house apart from a short dog walk with Annie. My daughter arranged this for us and not sure how she did being so far away but she did. Take care Susan, you have been through so much of late with the bushfires and now this pandemic, truly awful times x

Here, I got prepared, some at a time, before this hit. I'm glad I did.

    1. Happy to know you are alright for supplies. I managed to secure a delivery slot for Monday and I have people I can call on to help us if need be. Today I am going to call a friend to see if she is alright. We all need a little help from our friends.
